In between-y season continues, but full blown Fall is definitely almost here. There are plenty of pieces to wear now, through the season, and then incorporate into the Winter. The trends this year are vast, but I have to say that classic, preppy, slightly nostalgic, and high quality pieces (that will last) are what I am gravitating towards. With a bit of originality, of course. Here are six looks that I would sport over and over all season long.
For lunch with friends...
A great take on the ruffle trend with this sweater tucked into this olive skirt. And I love these open toe slide-in booties. This bag is a giant tote and a cross body and completely genius. You can add a monogram and it comes in other colors, including white.
For weekend day outings with the family...
The gray wash and the super flattering slits of these skinny jeans and so good. I have long loved these silk shirts for a fraction of most brands cost (comes in other colors, and obsessed with this dress from them as well). The blue color would look so great with this gray draped sweater that looks like heaven. A neutral cross body and fun white sneaks with a puff of fur. WANT IT ALL.
For that work drinks thing...
These black pants looks so slimming on and paired with this cardigan meets cold shoulder would be perfect (a great alternative to this beauty). Loving an oxford moment with it, but if you want heels, these would be cute and classic.
For watching the game...
Love this collegiate inspired look with this classic Rugby (takes me back and I like it) with slim boyfriend jeans in a light wash. Topped with this fantastic sweater blazer (comes in other colors) to keep you warm. The pink bag brings in some femme and your toes stays cozy in these super cute slides.
For girls night...
Love a color blocked look for Fall. A cozy one shouldered sweater (or this one at a lower price) in a pretty hue with stretchy faux suede pants that will get all the compliments (also in black). LOVE these cross body bucket bags, especially in the white which look so chic paired with darker colors for Fall (comes in many other colors and sizes). And my go to, buy every year, leather flats that never let me down.
For date night...
Full blown ruffles are still a statement that I love if you're into it. And the exposed buttons on these skinny jeans are taking me to 2001 in the best way. They would tuck in perfectly to these over the knee boots (under $200!) that I can vouch for. And a pink leopard is basically always a great idea (or maybe pink fur? hello Cher Horowitz).
