What I Wore Last Week

One thing that I have tried not to do on this blog or Instagram is pretend. There are so many bloggers out there that do the best job of putting looks together and posting the most perfect pictures (no judgement I love them too!). And some are doing that for real, but many are staging photo shoots with racks of clothes from advertisers a couple times a month and pushing the shots as if they are wearing things real time. I prefer to do things as they happen and be as authentic as possible for you all. Selfies feel pretty ridiculous, but it is what I get comments on to do more of all the time. So I thought I would try and post weekly outfits here. Maybe not every outfit every week (hello raggy pjs), but pieces that I love and you might too.

From Top Left:
Monday included pilates and errands. That means the coziest Zara jacket EVER that is sadly sold out. This is similar and this. My go to leggings, this cute Gap sweatshirt (on sale), and my beloved wedge boots lined with shearling.

I had a meeting Tuesday night, which gave me an excuse to wear my favorite silk button down (similar) with these velvet jeans (on sale, true to size). I LOVE this color combo and the booties (on sale) kept it comfortable.

Wednesday I had pilates and had to meet a photographer for a property. So I wore my work out clothes under this striped sweater (on sale), my Uggs, and the classic Chateau Parka (on sale) from J. Crew.

Bottom Left:
Thursday I had a tennis match and wore this cute tennis dress (on super sale!) from J. Crew with these Gap compression leggings underneath. I absolutely love these kicks from Zara too.

Friday I had pilates in the morning and then met a friend for a movie date. I hid my workout clothes under this super soft sweater (this is similar and this) and wore these easy slip ons in pink velvet (on sale $29!). And yes, I have the same hair as the day before because I am living my best life.

Saturday evening we had dinner with friends so I wore this sweet ruffled sweater (50% off!) and the most comfy skinny jeans. (on sale) I paired them with my Zara velvet flats (similar) and the classic Claire V. leopard clutch.

This was fun to make myself look a bit more presentable even if it was an errands and work out kind of day. As you can see I like to hide the work out clothes and move on with my day. I also am usually in pretty casual clothes with the occasional one or two dressier nights. If there are any outfits that you need help with most, let me know and I will try to include more.

  1. I love this!! Love how you transition workout clothes into the rest of your day. I have not mastered that, so end up fully changing hence wearing two outfits every day. Ok, three if you count pajamas by 6:00 :)

  2. Thank you for another great article. Where else could anyone get that kind of information in such a perfect way of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am on the look for such information. Oxnard Jewelry Store
